PUPPY REVIEWS
Over the last few years the Dinkidax Show Kennels has found wonderful homes from the sale of our puppies.
Here are just a few quotes from new owners of our puppies - Mark and Rachael Rivers who bought Blossom - "I just wanted to let you know how little dachshund blossom is doing, she is turning into a lovely little dog who has got a great character and personality. She is a massive part of our family everybody loves her to death (But she does have her favourites!) She has a lovely little life and she gets on great with her best mate pop my cocker spaniel gundog who she chases round the garden after mostly attached to her ears!!. Rachel has just said she thinks she might be getting ready for another dachshund so we might be paying another visit to you when you have some available!
Amy Willock who purchased Jake and Elwood, two miniature smooth haired brothers.
"I thought I
would update you with the latest from Jake and Elwood!
They have settled in brilliantly. They have a good routine still starting early
in the morning! They have couple of walks a day, they LOVE the park and have a
good run around the garden, always have a good sleep after. Their personalities
are brilliant and have there own little habits. We always have wacky races round
the house where they will chase each other round the house in circles! They are
so playful and they always love a good cuddle with you to set them off to sleep.
The latest thing is to sit on top of our chair in the lounge and sit staring out
the window barking at everything that passes! They are very friendly with people
just Elwoods a bit wary but settles down after a while. Still unsure of
children.
I take them to puppy training class once a week which they are getting on great
with! They are the smallest (and cutest) in the class but have come on leaps and
bounds! I have trained them to sit and wait and nearly down. Elwood is trained
to do kiss too! They are a lot better with other dogs BIG dogs they will
eventually say hello and give a sniff! Mum is Jakes favourite and does get upset
waiting for her in the morning if me or my dad are up with them first."
Jane Bucklow - Purchased Dinkidax Steady Eddie - Miniature Longhaired dachshund. A very good night with Freddie, much better than expected considering all so very new to him. I settled him in his basket on the padded mat, teddy bear to snuggle up to & radio on low. I prepared myself for bed & then very quietly returned to utility room, without opening the door, stood & listened for a moment or two, making sure he wasn't fretting before sneaking back to my bedroom. The main bedroom where I sleep is closest to the utility & always have the window open a little, so hearing any sign of distress - not a problem. Many thanks for letting me have such a beautiful little boy!
Another email from Jane - "Hello Mags, Wishing you well at Edinboro' & to let you know my little treasure is continuing to gell more & more with me. Had his first vaccination last Mon. Just enjoying the garden & good weather for now. Friends calling to meet him ever day so far & think he is adorable. Love & good luck, Jane.
Below are photos sent to me by Cody's new owner - Mrs.Jean Dickenson from Manchester - who intends to show Cody (Dinkidax Broxa Boy). " What an adorable little Puppy - I am so looking forward to showing him".
"Dear Mags, Thought I would show you a picture of a beautiful puppy I bought,
looks as though it is going to be a little cracker!" Love Jean XX

Lucy Smith writes "Salami (originally Dorcas) is doing well. She had a great Christmas (especially enjoying the wrapping paper); all the family adored her! She's defiantly a hit. Salami can now, 'sit', 'wait', and 'fetch', though 'give' has its on and off days."
