Introducing Dinkidax Donnovan, our latest entry into the show ring. Sire: Ch.Djeata Riven Within The Ring - Dam: Dinkidax Midnite Conshirto- DNA CLEAR

Dinkidax Donnovan has entered the show ring. He has been entered for four shows to date and has achieved two 1st places and two 2nd's. Not a bad start to a show career. His best to date is BPIB, BOB and BPIS 4th on Saturday 3rd December. 2011. Many thanks to Breed Judge - Jane Howells (Fallowmill) and BIS Show Judge Mr. Jeremy Goddard (Minard/Pipajay).

LKA Ch. Show used to be the last Ch. Show for the Breed  to qualify dogs for Crufts. However since The Kennel Club removed CCs from the breed entries have been somewhat depleted. Judge Adam Rowell drew an entry of 44 from 39 dogs but sadly due to absenteeism only 19 dogs turned up . Dinkidax Donnovan came Reserve Best of Sex in Breed behind Garbosa Garfield who won Best of Sex, both from Minor Puppy. Sadly only six dogs were there in total.  Not one of the best shows I have attended- no  atmosphere, no public around the rings. Dachshunds seemed to be relegated to the outpost of the NEC Centre - no stalls, no public interest.

West Torrington C.S. held an Open Show on Saturday 17th March. Donnovan won 1st in the Junior Class. He is now just one year old and has stopped growing and subsequently has now attained the required weight for the show ring. Saturday 24th March - Northern Counties Dachshund Association Ch. Show - Donnovan won 1st in the Junior Class and Best Dog and then went onto win BOB. We also won two prizes in the raffle. Had a great day. Many thanks to judge Mr. Hector Heathcote.

Donnovan has taken his time maturing and so has not been entered at many shows. Now at 14 months old  he has come into his own and is now showing his socks off.  He won his Junior class at West Riding Dachshund Association on 12th May and then went onto win BOB under Judge.J.Waldon-Haddon. The following day he won the Junior Class at The National Dog Show under German Judge Herr Horst Kliebenstein. What a great weekend.

Donnovan is a lovely specimen of the breed, Good pigmentation, good colour, excellent bone and loves to show.
